Summary

UBM Asia is seeking a marketing professional specialized in marketing, communications and event management to join the Jewellery Exhibition team. This position is full time, based in Hong Kong and reports directly to the Assistant Director of Marketing Communications. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to work for one of the world’s largest global trade exhibitions organisers. 

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute the marketing and advertising plans and strategies for one of the sizable Jewellery fairs
• Produce and manage all marketing collaterals, special events
• Write and disseminate press releases and fair reports
• Coordinate with different parties (both internal and external) on event logistics, onsite support and production of collaterals & giveaways
• Conduct interviews and survey analysis
• Evaluate and review the effectiveness of the marketing activities
• Support the Assistant Director of Marketing Communications in managing and coaching the team 

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Communications, PR or related discipline
• Minimum 7 years of work experience preferably in marketing, communications or event management fields
• Prior experience in trade exhibition would be an advantage
• Excellent communication and strong organisational skills are highly required
• Strong project and event management skills
• Good copy-writing skills
• Excellent command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic, pro-active, attention to details and able to work under pressure
• Candidates with more solid experience will be considered as Marketing Communications Manager
