About the Client and Role

This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly reputable company looking to grow their brand presence and raise awareness in Asia. This will be a highly independent role and will require you to work confidently with senior stakeholders in developing and implementing the marketing plan. You will demonstrate a background in B2B marketing and strong business acumen to base your marketing efforts on industry/market research and competitor intelligence. You will report to the Country Manager, Asia.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop regional marketing and PR strategy and implement activities covering consumer, trade and financial PR from generation and translation of press releases through to PR event management
• Conduct and present research on market trends in Asia and highlight how these trends influence the business
• Develop content, and co-ordinate social media plan in Asia, in line with industry best practice, communicating and reinforcing the Company brand in a consistent and professional manner
• Assist divisional marketing teams with the planning and coordination of regional events such as tradeshows, technical seminars and conferences
• Support internal communications and employee engagement activities as required

About You:

• Over 5 years’ experience in corporate marketing/communications in a B2B environment.
• Evidence of strong proficiency in communicating effective messages across different communication routes, excellent proof reading and editing skills
• Strong B2B social media experience including weibo and wechat
• Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
