This position will be a great opportunity for someone who is interested in starting or building their career in the events industry. The Production Coordinator will be a key member of the Production team, working closely with our Senior Producer, Creative Services team, and other areas of the business.  The Production Team is responsible for bringing the creative concept for the event to life – including Audio, Visual, Lighting, Themeing, Entertainment, and more!  The Production Coordinator will support the team in various aspects of event production with a primary focus on sourcing, supplier management, entertainment sourcing and onsite support. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Brief in existing AV & print production suppliers to get quotes for events
• Manage AV & print production suppliers to ensure they deliver on time and within budget
• Source entertainment and themeing options based on creative direction from Sr Producer or Creative Director
• Placing orders through taobao and tracking payments and shipments
• Ensure all payments to suppliers are tracked and reconciled
• Evening and weekend work required at times based on event needs
• Travel overseas may be required for events at times
  
  
  

Skills/Experience:

• A passion for events and bringing ideas to life
• A positive attitude & willingness to learn
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work in high pressure environments and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English and Cantonese
• Previous experience in event industry preferred
