Job Descriptions:

• To oversee the logistics projects handled by the Central Logistics Department mainly in HKG and South China
• To carry out the daily business of the existing logistics projects, to serve the clients by providing a high level of customer service and to manage the subcontractors in performing the required operations
• To implement new projects including the initial analysis of the customers’ requirements, designing of the solutions, sourcing of subcontractors, preparation of quotations and RFQ responses, setting up of customer-specific SOPs and coordination with the IT team for the implementation of related solution (e.g. WMS)
• To communicate and liase efficiently and effectively with clients/ branch offices/ overseas agents/ service providers in executing the above activities
• To support the head of the department in all commercial and operational matters

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

• Degree holder in Logistics & Supply Chain Management or related disciplines
• 1-3 years of working experiences in logistics industry (Candidate with experience gained in a multinational logistics company is a plus)
• Good command of English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) both written and verbal
• A team player who works well with peers and has the ability to develop trust and respect from others in a complex and multi-cultural environment
• Ability to work and perform under pressure
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with strong persuasion, consensus-building abilities and presentation skills
• Familiarity with all Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Abilities to lead and influence the others to achieve the desired result
• Factors that are important to successful performance in this position are :
• Diligent and customer oriented mindset
• Good analytic skills & strong sense in dealing with numbers
