Main Responsibilities

• To take a leading role in direct investment deals of attractive investments with the prime objective, Origination and execution of private equity deals, cross border deals, to maximize returns, and manage client relationships
• To identify and develop potential clients, and elicit additional business from existing network
• To develop knowledge of client needs and requirements
• To maintain professional relationship with all market participants (in-house, inter-group, financial institutions and clients) and possess the professional standards to successfully implement marketing strategies for principal investments transactions.
• To help build companies that will achieve and retain market leadership positions.
• To further develop the strong account base via better service and account relationship.
• To leverage relationships with regulatory authorities, and coordinate with professional parties such as Accountants, Lawyers in order to structure and operate successful business ventures.
• To consider a broad set of investment opportunities and develop a customized solution that maximizes both the success of our portfolio companies and the potential returns to our investors.

Requirements

• Business related Degree from a reputable university
• Accountancy, legal, MBA and/or CFA qualification will be advantageous
• A minimum of 8years’ experience for ED, 3-5 years for AVP & VP levels in Private Equity / Principal Investments / IBD, in-house private equity expereince can be considered too.  
• Substantial knowledge and exposure of investing across a broad range of industries, and different forms of private equity instruments
• Possess good accounting knowledge, strong analytical, communication and writing skills, with proven ability to perform financial modeling and financial analysis
• Fluency in English and Mandarin, both spoken and written, is a must. Cantonese preferred as well..
