Job Description
Operations Manager - China
Our client is a fast growing commercial organisation and they are looking for an Operations Manager to join their team in Dongguan Office
Responsibilities:
- Work with the Engineering and Quality team ensuring overall responsibility and accountability for optimization, implementation and successful management for all aspects of the operations efficiency and quality standard
- Develop and oversee implementation and administration of department policies, systems, and procedures
- Optimize, implement and successfully manage product development efficiency and quality standard
- Determines optimum staffing model for the department
- Provide leadership which facilitates accomplishment of objective by ensuring support systems and practices are in place
- Review and maintain control of budgetary requirements, schedules and commitments, to ensure effective operations
- Implements cost reduction and benchmarking proposals according to customer and the company’s Corporation targets
- Responsible for the projects follow-up ensuring customer expectations
- Report on engineering activities regularly to the Management team, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of the relevant Key Performance Indicators
Requirement
- Bachelor Degree or above in Engineering, Manufacturing or related subject
- Over 15 years working experience in the automotive electronics, household electrical appliances or related electrical original design manufacture
- Solid experience in Operations, Supplier Development and Supply Chain management
- Excellent Service Delivery/Service Management/Logistics management experience and ability to drive things to completion for a successful operational outcome
- Strong ability in managing and coordinating with employees at all levels
- Extensive knowledge of Six Sigma tools and methodologies is preferred
- Detailed experience of ERP systems, and MS tools
- Result-oriented, self-motivated professional with strong organizational, analytical and problem solving skills;
- Experience gained from from MNC or international business organization
- A leader with excellent interpersonal & communication skills
- Fluent in English is a must;
- Willing to stay in Dongguan office Monday to Friday (accommodation will be provided)
- Willingness to travel
