Shun Cheong have an exciting opportunity for experienced project specialists to join our Data Center Infrastructure project team. These roles are ideal for technical experts with strong technical background and an interest in developing detailed design solutions and being responsible for the delivery of green field data center development projects in Hong Kong and Mainland China. The Senior Project Manager, in particular, will lead, plan, manage and ensure delivery of the E&M engineering aspects for projects within budgets and time lines. Responsibilities include the design and delivery of data center E&M project works and developing and enhancing relationships with sub-contractors, as well as staff.

Personal Attributes

• In-depth data center M&E design & project implementation knowledge and experience
• Understanding of construction management of a data center green field projects including the application process of statutory submission
• Understanding of builder’s requirements for data center buildings
• Role of project management such as scheduling, budget control, time control, subcontractor management, etc.
• Ideally previously worked with a tier 1 E&M contractor
• Sound knowledge of managing and implementing data center project developments
• Strong leadership skills and keen attention to detail
• Determination to succeed
• Construction management or engineering qualifications
• M&E Cost Estimation for external tenders & Cost Management
• Documentation control & management

Key Responsibilities (SPM/PM/SPE/PE)

• Lead and mentor a team of project and site engineers
• Managing subcontractors and service suppliers
• Develop and maintain construction programs
• Implement the procurement strategy, as well as the Quality Management Plan.
• Heading up a sizeable package of works
• Planning, scheduling and coordinating the production progress on site
• Build, develop and maintain pleasant and effective working relationships with participants at all levels
• Programming works to optimize efficiency and productivity whilst keeping costs to budget
• Applicants with less experience will be considered for the PM/SPE/PE roles.
• Undertake E&M engineering design from concept through detailed design phases
• Client interaction at project level in delivery of design and documentation
• Manage project participant engagement and project details confirmation and sign off
• Coordinate the E&M works with the building services, architecture and structural design
• Act as lead Project Manager for the project team to manage all participants (SPM/PM)
• Be responsible for delivery of the E&M scope, in adherence to project quality systems, program and budgets
• Managing the hours and budget for members of the QS team
• Undertake site inspections and prepare memoranda of inspection
• Be an active member of the team and contribute to the team's success
• Manage, train and mentor junior team members
• Be responsible for managing your own time utilization and revenue targets
