Key Responsibilities:

• Work directly with design team to source leathers with correct quality
• Manage tannery to delivery samples on time and negotiate price to achieve company target
• Research market trend and collect new material and manage material presentation
• Coordinate factory and tannery on quality and lead time issue during production
• Working directly with designers and merchandisers to follow fashion direction and material development request
• Working directly with tanneries and Knowledge of various tanning techniques and raw hide selection to accommodate different footwear categories and constructions
• Working with tanneries, locally and overseas, to plan capacity, selection, cost, cutting yields and selection

 Required Experience and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher level education preferred
• Minimum 8 years experiences in sourcing handbag leathers
• Excellent written and verbal communications in English with strong working knowledge of Excel, Outlook and Word
• Excellent analytical and record keeping skills
