Job Description

A global leading Jewellery brand seeks a Digital Marketing Manager to oversee their entire APAC digital strategy.  The position will be responsible for evolving the digital roadmap and will do so by embracing the latest platforms, technologies and rapid evolution in the digital space, fostering existing partnership and seeking new ones, so that the business can keep ahead of evolving opportunities, leverage the latest thinking to drive more sales and profit for the business in Asia Market including Japan and Korea.

Responsibilities:

Digital Planning

  • Creating, managing and growing the company’s presence through all relevant Chinese social media channels
  • Coordinating a content calendar with online activity, tracking social media influence measurements, and partnering with other departments
  • Develop a social media strategy with Director focusing on brand building in line with Marketing, Editorial and CRM activities 
  • Be on the forefront of social media trends and new social media tools
  • Conceptualize and experiment new or alternative ways to leverage social media activities
  • Stay up to date on new media tools and best practice specific to China as well as for the rest of the world and provide suggestions on new channels to be explored and developed
  • Content creation, writing posts and material using social media as a dedicated communication channel 
  • Ensure consistency of message being communicated across different social media platforms
  • Customer relations – responsible for “customer support" – answering questions by liaising with the specialists and managing any online feedback forums 

Marketing

  • Monitor trends and online conversations on all digital and social channels
  • Actively build and engage with followers and fans on social media platforms 
  • Identify influencers and develop plans for engagement 
  • Organize, analyze and summarize social media related analytics
  • Monitor online metrics to determine effectiveness of social media efforts
  • Work closely with Retail and Merchandising teams to ensure awareness of products and product categories that need to be pushed

 

Requirements:

  •          Proven track record of working in house or agency environments
  •          4-5 years’ experience of Digital Marketing experience, preferably with 360 APAC experience
  •          Solid understanding of using social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and Weibo for marketing campaigns
  •          A strong understanding of website layout and content drafting
  •          Proven track record of delivery completely 360 online marketing campaigns
  •          Experience with implementing games via WeChat’s marketing service
  •          Must be able to write in both Chinese and English for multilingual sites
