Job Description

Are you a passionate retail professional who is looking for their next their big challenge? Our client is actively looking for a Brand Manager to oversee the continued growth of their business in the Hong Kong and Macau region.  You will be helping the company to create a lasting impression among consumers and improving product sales and market share, monitoring market trends and overseeing advertising activities to ensure the right message is delivered to create brand awareness.  This position will report directly to the CEO of Greater China and will have full autonomy on the Hong Kong and Macau market.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive business growth and ensure that financial goals and qualitative objectives are met.
  • Help to implement and regularly update a sustainable distribution strategy that will enable the brand to achieve its quantitative and qualitative objectives.
  • Ensure that the highest level of customer service is delivered to clients, internal or external.
  • Lead the sales team to ensure that all functions are efficiently performed.
  • Ensure that all appropriate resources are available to meet the targets.
  • Efficiently support the Client Care initiatives.
  • To provide Managing Director with strategic  business analysis and wholesale planning for the South East Asia region
  • To proactively manage the performance of stores in remit by leading, motivating and developing the teams, setting high standards of store presentation and service levels. Also responsible for all operations and the health and safety of the area.  
  • Monitor sales performance through on-going analysis in sales trend, average spending, traffic, conversion ratio, transaction value, customer base, sell thru and inventory level to identify ways to improve bottom line
  • Create Personal Development Plans on time for all new Managers on boarding and ensure Managers do the same for all new hires
  • Accurately complete weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual business reporting and action plans
  • Appoint, advise, guide, control and report the operations of retailers, their business development and results. Intervene and follow-up on key issues and prospects and motivate retailers in order to secure their adhesion to the brand and its corporate values and to ensure their business growth and continuous profitability.
  • Ensure that sell-in and sell-out objectives are met at all times.
  • Help to provide a monthly market report to the management (incl. sell-in and sell-out figures).
  • Help to organise regular training workshops for internal employees as well as trade personnel.

 

Requirements:

  • University Degree, preferably in Business Management, Economics or Marketing.
  • Minimum 6 years working experience in a similar position in the luxury retail industry with a sustained performance track record.
  • Experience in both wholesale and retail.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and business sense, customer focus.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
