Reporting to Finance Director, you will work with peers in Hong Kong Hub to handle an all-rounded financial accounting function for ASSA ABLOY Hospitality group. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate monthly reporting and smooth month-end closing, supporting the team in audit activities and the development/improvement of systems, policies and procedures. You will also be required to participate into ad hoc assignments and projects.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for General Ledger and month end closing process, fixed assets management, accounts payable invoices processing for Distributor Markets in EMEA, Americas and Asia.
• Liaison between vendors, commercial partners and management to resolve account queries rapidly and efficiently and maintain good working relationships
• Responsible for system maintenance and updates at vendor master & exchange rate table
• Perform inter-company accounting, reconciliations, and management reporting in HFM
• Perform analytical review on management reports to explain the business performance
• Interface with auditors and support in annual financials audit
• Assist the company budget planning and forecasts
• Provide support to ad hoc financial projects when required

Requirements:

• University graduate in Accounting or related disciplines and qualified accountant is preferred
• Minimum 3 years’ work experience in audit or accounting field, with solid accounting experiences in Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets Management, Bank, and General Ledger functions
• Hands-on experience in using Microsoft Dynamics AX system and Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) is preferred
• Mature, self-motivated, deadline-driven, comfortable working under pressure, a team player and able to work independently
• Good communication, organization and analytic skills
• Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese; Putonghua is a plus
• Competent in PC knowledge and MS Windows applications, especially in advanced Excel; database knowledge is a definite asset
