The Role

The Quantitative Analyst will actively involve in testing new trading ideas. The person should be familiar with both handling financial data and the general market situation. Outstanding candidate may have the opportunity to participate in real market trading.

Responsibilities:

• Generate back-tests from new trading ideas
• Develop and improve model-based investment strategies
• Maintain and operate current back-test algorithms 
• Gather market data and news for researches
• Other ad-hoc support for researches
  
  
  

Shortlisted candidates MUST proceed the following qualifications:

• R and VBA programming skills with financial applications
• Knowledge in Statistics
• Basic knowledge in financial derivatives
  
  
  

Other Qualifications:

• Degree holder or above
• 0-2 years of experiences, outstanding fresh graduates are welcomed
• Strong computer knowledge and programming skills
• Passionate in financial markets, self-motivated
• Numerical, sensitive to numbers
• Work independently
• Fluency in Cantonese, English and Mandarin
• Knowledge in Data-mining or technical analysis is an advantage
