Our client is a market leader in its industry across the globe. To support its supply chain function, an opportunity has arisen for a dynamic talent to lead the operations for Asia region.

Reporting to the Vice President, you will oversee sourcing, product development, procurement and quality management of a broad portfolio of design-based hardline merchandise from Asia origins. Leading a sizeable team, you will formulate and drive sourcing and procurement initiatives, while maintaining a strategic business partnership with internal cross-functional teams and external vendors. You will review and optimize existing operations processes to maximize lead-time, cost and quality efficiency. In addition, you will ensure all sourcing and procurement activities are implemented in compliance with company strategies and procedures.

Successful candidate will possess the following competencies and attributes:

• University Degree or above
• At least 15 years of relevant experience gained from consumer sector, preferably from an international brand capacity
• Exposure to manufacturing sector, with proven record on process optimization and supplier performance management
• Ability to work effectively within diverse culture and highly matrix organization
• Analytical, strategic thinking and with high level of integrity
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluency in English and Mandarin is essential
