Our client is the Far East sourcing arm of a leading apparel group which offers a broad portfolio of apparel in European market. They now seek a seasoned talent to join its technical teamin Hong Kong.

Reporting to the Manager, you will manage technical and quality aspects of sweater/ C&S categories across men’s, ladies’ and children’s wear. You will review samples and provide technical expertise and advice to design and merchandising teams during product development and pre-production stage. You will identify potential production problems and suggest effective solutions to factories in order to improve production efficiency and quality. You will also evaluate existing and new factories and work with third party product testing laboratories, inspection/ audit agencies to ensure each can meet the company's quality specifications.

Successful candidate will possess the following competencies and attributes:

• University degree in Textile, Quality Management or any other related disciplines
• At least 12-15 years' hands-on experience in technical support and total quality management of knit items gained from sizeable sourcing office
• Candidates with manufacturing/ sample room experience will be highly sought after
• Well-versed of export regulations and quality standard for European market
• Solid technical knowledge on fitting, grading, garment construction and production process etc.
• Able to attend business travel within Asia, mostly mainland China
• Fluent in English and Mandarin is essential
