POSITION SUMMARY:
The Specialist, Talent Management supports the talent acquisition and development objectives by effectively and efficiently recruiting qualified candidates to assigned business units and supports training and development for the corporate and global merchandising functions.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Talent Acquisition
• Build and maintain consultative relationship to hiring managers on all aspects during the recruitment process; understand their hiring needs and job requirements
• Provide full spectrum of recruitment service including search & selection, assessment, and offer management
• Proactively source talents through direct channels such as e-recruitment platform, social media, local job boards, employee referral program, etc.
• Maintain the talent database and keep track all talent acquisition related activities
Talent Development
• Organize onboarding programs for new joiners including delivery of orientation workshops and arrange store walks and warehouse visits
• Collect feedback on training programs and measure their returns of investment
• Maintain & update annual training calendar, course outline and training records per department
• Develop & organize staff learning workshops such as Lunch & Learn sessions
• Partner closely with the Global Learning & Talent Development team
Graduate Development Program – Management Trainees (MT)
• Assist in our Graduate Development Program (Management Trainee) from recruitment to graduation placement
• Prepare onboarding and familiarization program for newly onboard MTs, including orientation workshops, store visits, outdoor team building activities, etc.
• Monthly catch up with MTs and keep track of their rotation, performance and challenges throughout the program
• Partner up with the Store Division HR and the Global Graduate Development Program team for regular updates and project collaborations
General
• Complete internal reports and participate in various projects in conjunction with other senior managers, as required
• Communicate with appropriate internal contacts including HR Centre of Excellences (COEs), HR Business Partners, Global Merchandising and Corporate team and Store Operations
• Perform any other duties as requested in a diligent and conscientious manner
REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum 3 years recruitment or talent development experience in a fast-paced environment
• Self-starter, able to work independently with a “can-do” attitude
• Function as a resourceful and proactive team member
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills; ability to juggle multiple projects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
