RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with key stakeholders to ascertain the state and objectives of existing business processes and document them accordingly
• Critically review business processes across commercial and risk management dimensions; processes should be examined holistically in the way that they interact with people, strategy, systems and general business operations
• Propose practical solutions to optimize existing workflows; new process designs should be clearly mapped out and presented to stakeholders to ensure maximum buy-in and smooth implementation
• Partner with internal and external parties to define and prioritize the objectives of each process
• Establish performance measurement system to track ongoing progress towards operational excellence and achievement of pre-agreed targets. This involves close partnership with internal departments to develop the relevant service standards and KPIs. Performance standards / targets should be realistic and aligned with organisational goals and, where appropriate, benchmarked against industry standards
• Work closely with IT to automate / enhance existing processes and develop monitoring systems (e.g. automatically generated periodic progress reports, alerts for anomalies, etc.) to track ongoing progress in a transparent and accountable manner
• Standardize and institutionalize best practices across different business divisions and functional areas

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor degree holder with minimum 8 years related experience with at least 4 years experiences in consulting, audit, risk management, process improvement / re-engineering, or change management fields
• Experience in FCMG industries and / or Mainland China markets is an advantage
• Advanced Excel techniques and strong proficiency in other Microsoft Office suite applications
• Knowledge of database management (e.g. Microsoft Access, SQL, etc.), ERP, CRM and BPM systems would be highly advantageous
• Understanding and demonstrated application of continuous improvement tools and frameworks (e.g. Lean Process, Six Sigma, Value Stream, TQM, etc.) would be highly advantageous
• Understanding of how to effectively utilize technology to improve operational excellence and address process issues
• Knowledge of standard business process modelling notations
• Highly motivated team player and fast-learner with ability to perform at a high calibre under pressure and to work independently with minimum supervision in a dynamic environment
• Mature and able to exercise independent judgment when managing multiple priorities
• Passionate, entrepreneurial, and result-oriented self-learner who takes initiative to dive into the fundamentals of our business and to continuously identify opportunities to improve it
• Excellent communication, influencing, relationship-building, and consensus-building skills in interactions with internal and external stakeholders
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking, time and project management, analytical, logical reasoning, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Flexibility for occasional travel to Mainland China to meet with stakeholders as need arises
• Good command of spoken and written Mandarin and English
