Job Summary:

Day to day implementation and management of the projects quality assurance and quality control systems. Assist with Environmental Protection.

Specific Duty:

• Prepare Project Quality Plan;
• Prepare Inspection, Test & Approval Plan;
• Review Method Statements;
• Set-up Project and Quality Record Filing Systems;
• Manage Quality System and Technical Training:-
• Prepare and maintain Training Programme
• Conduct Site Induction Training (Quality / PQP / Method Statement & ITAP / Records & Filing)
• Manage Training Records

• Carry out Routine Surveillance Inspections (Quality & Environment) of Site (including preparing surveillance report for each inspection detailing activities undertaken and any findings);
• Conduct internal quality audits;
• Manage quality control function:-
• Check that all Inspections and Test are completed and recorded correctly
• Conduct Inspections & Tests as required
• Check that all Approvals are received
• Check that all quality record files are up-to-date
• Maintain Inspection & Test Status records
• Prepare Final Summary Reports
• Coordinate all submissions

• Manage Non-Compliance / Non-conformance Function:-
• Raise Non-Conformance Reports and Corrective Action Requests
• Assist with remedial action
• Follow-up and close action

• Attend Progress Meetings and report on quality matters;
• Maintain measurement records in relation to project Objectives;
• Coordinate with Client on Quality Matters;
• Attend any Client Meetings and Inspections as required.

Requirement:

• minimum 5 years in construction
• minimum 2 years in QA or QC experience in precast preferred
• Skills:
• Rigorous

• Write what to do & do what is written
• Enthusiast to train worker/supervisor
• Initiatives for progress/improvement actions
• MS excel required
