Our client is a HK listed conglomerate with business operations in Hong Kong, China and Asia Pacific, currently they are seeking for a Treasury Manager the join their sizable treasury team.

Report to the Treasury Director, the candidate will support the formulation of strategies and structures for project level financing and risk mitigation for overseas investments; and responsible for implementing financing, risk management plans as well as financial modelling and analyses for the overall project level financing activities of the Group.

Responsibilities:

• Help develop project level financing strategies, structures and risk management plans
• Implement project level financing, hedging and risk management strategies
• Responsible for building, running of comprehensive financial models and related investments, and perform sensitivity analyses
• Review and draft project documents such as concessionary agreement, purchase agreement, FX convertibility agreement and financing agreement
• Review and draft project information memorandum and finance related documents
• Support financing due diligence, reporting and presentation of project information
• Negotiate commercial and financial terms for the projects
• Support project and business managers to move forward projects under development

Requirements:

• A recognized university degree with professional qualification in finance, accounting or relevant disciplines
• Minimum 10 years’ relevant working experience in banking, treasury or finance including 5 years of experience in project finance and Energy/ Utilities industry
• Sound knowledge of project financing, project finance markets and instruments, export credit policies and bank lending practices
• Strong leadership, management and negotiation skill
• High level of commitment and dedication to meet project timeline
• Leader and team player who works effectively, independently and with others at multiple levels
• Fluent in English, Chinese and Putonghua. Good command of writing skills in English and Chinese
• Proficient in MS software such as Excel including macro functions, Word and PowerPoint
