Duties:
The appointee will assist the project leader in a research project involving IT in education, software testing and language processing. He or she will be required to (i) function as a team member in the data collection, data analysis, algorithm design and implementation in a research study; (ii) conduct survey, design and implement algorithms, analyse results, and prepare technical reports. Appointment will be made on a contract basis for an initial period of one year.

Appointment Criteria:
(i) have a Ph.D. in computer science with preference to candidates in the area of data mining, machine learning and/or natural language processing,;
(ii) have at least 3 years of research experience; 
(iii) be able to work independently;
(iv) have excellent communication skills and fluency in English and Chinese;
