Responsibilities

• Develop exhibition concept research with curators, artists, designers, architects, writers and performers
• Coordinate artwork production and logistics
• Organize exhibition public programs, including talks and symposia, coordinate outreach to a wide range of audience, conduct docent tours
• Produce publicity materials including press releases, flyers and coordinate with the press
• Proofread and translate (to and from English and Chinese) exhibition materials
• Coordinate with writers, translators and designers to execute publications/book projects
• Communicate with international museums and institutions
• Write grants and proposals
• Facilitate sales of artworks
• Conduct condition checks and maintain artwork related records
• Record keeping of artworks and guest visits.
• Outreach to schools and Institutions for exhibition tours.
• Attend to needs for participating in Art Fairs.

Requirements

• A Masters level degree in Art History, Fine Art or related disciplines
• Fluency in written and spoken English, Cantonese and Putonghua. Knowledge of one other European language is a plus.
• Initiative to develop and execute new ideas.
• 2 years working experience in art related organization.
