Job Description
Location: Sheung Wan
Roles & responsibilities:
- Provide support to the Administration Secretary in the formation, inauguration and orientation of the Board for compliance with the Tung Wah Ordinance as well as monitoring the governance structure of the Board;
- serve as secretary to the Board and senior management team to enable a smooth operation of the Group;
- establish a close relation with current Board Members in facilitating their assumption of various roles in the Board and enhancing their sense of belonging;
- maintain effective communication with the current/past Boards and the top management team for relations and consensus building for achieving corporate objectives and strengthening corporate governance of the Group;
- monitor the trademark registration of TWGHs in Hong Kong/the Mainland to protect the interest and image of the Group; and
- lead the Board and Committees Section and supervise the team for achieving the annual work plan and ensure high quality output of all secretarial work.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- A recognized degree;
- at least 8-10 years’ post-qualification experience in corporate administration work with corporate secretarial training;
- grade D or above in Chinese and English Language in the Hong Kong Advanced Level Examination (HKAL);
- pleasant personality, being receptive and diplomatic while committed to adhering to principles;
- excellent writing, communication and interpersonal skills; and
- proficiency in English and Chinese.

Compensation & employment terms:
The successful candidate will initially be offered a 3-year contract with a remuneration package commensurate with his/her background and experience. The continuation of employment and employment terms thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement. Apart from contributions to the MPF Scheme, other benefits include paid annual leave, medical services, a dental scheme and training sponsorships. The incumbent will normally work under a 5-day week schedule subject to operational needs and exigencies of the service.
