Responsibilities

• Provide full support in all aspects of investment process, including research on various industries and companies, perform financial analysis and modelling, due diligence, negotiation of investment terms and conditions, and liaise with legal counsels to prepare and execute transaction documents
• Work with internal and external parties to drive due diligence, deal screening and deal execution process
• Produce presentation materials for investment committee discussions on private equity investment opportunities by presenting own investment recommendations
• Draft full investment memorandums independently with detailed financial models and valuations
• Monitor ongoing investments, including financial performance of portfolio companies and reviews of valuations for portfolio companies
• Participate in the monitoring and evaluation of potential exit alternatives
• Provide basic administrative support on an ad-hoc and regular basis

Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ experience working in investment banking, private equity, accounting M&A or a related function
• University degree - preferably in a Financial, Accounting, Business or a Mathematical Discipline
• CPA/CFA candidate/charter holder preferred
• Strong analytical and technical skills especially in financial modelling, due diligence, financial analysis
• Knowledgeable about the private equity market and the process of raising private equity funds
• A results-orientated approach to working
• Ability to work independently, as well as in a team setting
• High degree of personal integrity, self-motivation, and attention to detail
• Excellent command of written and spoken English, Mandarin and Cantonese
• Authorization as a licensed representative under the Hong Kong SFC (preferable)
• A willingness to travel internationally if required
