Our Client, a world-class Design Studio, specializing in interior design and fit-out projects for high-end hospitality projects in Hong Kong and around the world is currently looking for a bilingual (Japanese and English) Interior Designer with min. 5 years of hotel/ F&B project experience to join their Hong Kong studio.

Responsibilities:

• Report to a Japanese speaking Team Leader
• Able to deliver space planning, design & execution, FF&E and installation, site inspection, project management and material sourcing
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary consultants for plans/ drawings, specifications, and material selections required for renovation and construction
• Able to translate the design language from Japanese to English speaking Clients Contract administration

Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree holder in Interior Design, Architecture, or related discipline
• Min. 5 years of interior design with proven track record in hotel, F&B and retail experience taking projects from design concept to completion
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency computer software skills in  AutoCAD, Adobe CS and SketchUp
• Fluent in spoken and written English and Japanese is a must
