Job Description

Community Business, a leading not-for-profit organisation (Hong Kong Charity Number 91/6560) focusing on advancing responsible and inclusive business practices in Asia, is looking for a creative, passionate, energetic, and flexible candidate to play a key role in its Marketing & Communications Team and drive its digital marketing strategy.

Key Responsibilities

This is a full time role based in Hong Kong and reporting to Senior Manager, Marketing & Communications.  The role will include but will not be limited to:

  • Developing a plan to leverage digital media, including web, eDM and social media to raise awareness and reinforce Community Business’ brand and offerings
  • Being responsible for maintaining Community Business’ new website, ensuring it is updated regularly and is an integral part of our marketing strategy
  • Learning and becoming an expert on the use of our existing programmes and systems that underpin our digital marketing strategy, eg website content management system, APSIS, etc
  • Working with the wider Marketing Communications Team to design images and banners to be used in our digital marketing
  • Supporting the wider Community Business Team in developing, designing and distributing eDMs and eNewsletters to promote our programmes and activities
  • Managing social media posts, ensuring Community Business raises its profile and maintains its position as a thought leader
  • Liaising with external parties, such as EDM sending system provider and website vendors, to ensure quality and timeliness of deliverables
  • Being knowledgeable on issues relating to copyright, compliance and accessibility standards to ensure we demonstrate the highest standards of professionalism
  • Capturing, tracking, analysing and reporting data related to activity and usage of all digital channels in order to assess impact and identify improvements
  • Coming up with creative ideas and channels to extend the reach and increase the impact of our campaigns, events and other activities
  • Providing advice and training to Community Business Team on issues relating to digital marketing, as required
  • Handle ad-hoc projects as required

Selection Criteria

Candidates should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

  • A keen interest in corporate social responsibility (CSR), diversity and inclusion, and creating a positive impact through working closely with the business sector
  • Degree holder or equivalent, preferably major in digital visual art or related field studies.
  • Familiar with Google Analytics and Search Engine Marketing (SEM)
  • Proficient in computer skills: HTML, CSS, Adobe Photoshop, Gif animation required, Microsoft software and Chinese word processing
  • Self-motivated, but also a good team player and a flexible, positive can-do attitude
  • Creative with the ability to come up with new ideas and identify solutions to problems
  • Highly organised with good forward planning, project management and time management skills in order to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Cantonese is mandatory, and Putonghua is an advantage

Salary                                                                        

The salary will be commensurate with the relevant experience of the successful candidate.
