Working location: Discovery Bay and/or Tung Chung

Duties & Responsibilities

• Set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge pupils.
• Promote good progress and outcomes by pupils.
• Demonstrate good subject and curriculum knowledge.
• Plan and teach well-structured lessons.
• Adapt teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of all pupils.
• Make accurate and productive use of assessment.
• Manage behaviour effectively to ensure a good and safe learning environment.
• Fulfil wider professional responsibilities, e.g. to run one extra-curricular club per week.

Requirements

• A recognized teacher certification, i.e. Bachelor of Education, Postgraduate Diploma in Education or equivalent.
• Native English speaker.
• A good team player with strong interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to the pastoral care of children.
• Ideally with some working/volunteering experience in international school setting.
• HK Permanent Resident or Dependent visa holder is preferred.
