Job Description

Job Summary

  • Take a lead role in providing Project Management services to Transfer Agency projects for potential and existing SS-APAC clients
  • Manage the development and execution of projects through all stages of the project cycle using requisite project management and process engineering skills
  • Liaise with Internal Technology support teams globally and external TA Vendors to deliver required TA functionality to the Asian regions

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage key TA projects and working through the various work streams within the project
  • Assist the Business in Determining & Implementing quality Process Standards & Efficiencies
  • Ensure Project Plans identify and address all known Risk Areas
  • Ensure continuous improvement of processes to mitigate risks
  • Focus on best practice "Change Management" techniques
  • Work closely with the TA Product Head in on-boarding the TA clients including conversion from other platforms
  • Perform the Singapore representative functions as part of the daily activity
  • Maintain and the update the project plans and provide regular weekly project reports to all the stakeholders
  • Ensure any issues / risks are highlighted to the Steering Committee in a timely manner
  • Manage issue and risk logs and keep them updated at all times
  • Set up weekly working group meetings for the various work streams and ensure all the items within each stream are tracked and reported
  • Prepare the material for the Steering group meetings and present the facts
  • Work with the various subject matter experts to progress the work streams and keep check on any slippages
  • Work closely with the client to address all their concerns and issues and protect SS interests in agreeing with the client
  • Work with Risk / Compliance and Legal closely to ensure all SS interests are protected on any requests from the client
  • Facilitate the development of project plans, dashboards, test plans / strategies etc.
  • Communicate effectively with all people both on the project team and across the organisation
  • Ability to produce technical and business documentation for process improvements, systems enhancements and  development activities
  • Ability to perform business and project analysis to ensure an accurate thorough understanding of requirements, risks and alternatives
  • Work with internal technology teams to deliver business change requests and technical product enhancements to the TA platform
  • Engage with external TA vendors in regards to TA technology infrastructure
  • Willing and able to travel within the region as required

Education and Experience

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of Transfer Agency experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of Project Management experience on-boarding TA clients
  • Extensive knowledge of Transfer Agency services, systems and operations both within the Asian region and globally
  • Good Presentations skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications
  • Good liaison skills across all levels of the organization
  • Knowledge of end-to-end TA processing
  • Ability to speak English, Mandarin and Cantonese is preferred
