v   MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:

 Ÿ  To successfully deliver IT projects according to the predefined key performance indicators and be able to influence stakeholders in major project decisions through the use of the client’s Project Management standards and best practices.

v   KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Ÿ  Ensure successful project delivery within predefined KPIs by applying established the client’s project, resources and governance standards.

Ÿ  Manage full project lifecycle using Project Management know-hows and appropriate people skills.

Ÿ  Manage client’s expectations and influence key stakeholders and senior management on key project issues and decisions to ensure the final project performance meet or exceed agreed standards.

Ÿ  Coach and train assistant PM and project team members to improve project knowledge and skills within the IT Department.

Ÿ  Manage solutions vendor to ensure system deliverables with high quality and within planned schedule, cost

v   EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Ÿ  University degree in Computer Science, Business Studies, Project Management or related discipline.

v   PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Ÿ  10+ years’ working experience

Ÿ  5+ years’ IT project management experience in Insurance or Financial industry ranging from large scale, full lifecycle deployments to small project initiatives.

Ÿ  Experience managing a team of sub-ordinates to manage project and IT business requirements related tasks

Ÿ  Strong leadership, mentoring, organizational and communication skills.

Ÿ  Proven experience in verbal and written executive level communications.

Ÿ  Strong technical skills in Microsoft Office Suite including MS Project

Ÿ  Knowledge of and experience in using PM tool set preferred.

Ÿ  Knowledge of AGILE project experience is preferred.

Ÿ  Experience working in Insurance Industry preferred.
