Responsible for conceptualising, developing and maintaining core banking Applications / Systems

Involved in the full Software Development Lifecycle (“SDLC”) from performing business requirement study, documentation, analysis, design, development, testing, and user training to commissioning of the system

• Drive solutions to designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining and enhancing web and mobile applications
• Conduct user requirement analysis for the development/implementation of new systems
• Prepare project documentation such as Functional Specifications/Use Case Specifications
• Assist in the integration testing, system testing, User Acceptance Test and implementation activities
• Plan and coordinate training for end-users.
• Work with business partners during system implementation and manage post implementation support.
• Take on special projects and assignments as and when assigned

Requirements:

• Degree holder or above in Computer Science or related discipline
• 2-5 years proven experience in In-house application / system development and  maintenance
• Experience in full SDLC
• Experience in web-based application development on Java, JavaScript, Eclipse, Websphere, MySQL Server and Sybase
• Previous working experience in banking industry is preferable but not a must
• Strong analytical skills in identifying problems
• Self-motivated and able to work under pressure
• Good working attitude, presentation and communication skills
• Proficiency in both English & Chinese (written and spoken)
• With less experience will also be considered
