The Job 

• Sample Accessioning using in-house Administrative/Accessioning system
• General/Daily technical support to the lab
• Assist in daily operation such as inventory taking, consumables & reagents ordering
• Perform some routine lab techniques to help out the in-house Registered Clinical Cytogenetics and Molecular genetics technologists.
• Perform other duties as assigned by technical and operation supervisors
• On-job training will be provided

The Person

• Preferably B.Sc. or equivalent in Medical Lab or Biological Science
• Diploma/ Certificate in Biological Science with Lab Experience would be acceptable
• Clinical or Research Lab work in Biochemical or Molecular techniques is preferential
• Clinical Lab Assistant experience in Genetics or Cytogenetics would be an asset
• Proficient in PC applications
• Ability to work as a team and effective in communication with peers and management
• Good command of English and Chinese, both verbal and written
• Immediately available is preferable
• Saturday work may be required
