Marshall Amplification is seeking a Sourcing Supervisor to work in our Hong Kong Office.

Role: Reporting to the Overseas Operation Manager the role is to represent Marshall Amplification and act as the contact with contract manufacturers and suppliers during project development through to manufacturing. Finding new suppliers and working closely with them and the UK purchasing department to achieve global strategy on parts and services.

Duties Include:

• Sourcing of suitable suppliers for component parts and services for all Companies in the Marshall Amplification group as required.
• Supplier control in conjunction with the Purchasing Department based in the UK
• CM interface between R&D, the supplier and purchasing in relation to the BOM parts and tooling which will assist purchasing stock and finished goods ordering
• Manage quotation packages with the selected CM’s or sources suppliers
• Create quotation databases for comparison in order to compare the advantages and disadvantages of each quote
• To be the interface for the set project timelines placed on the OEM’s and Marshall Amplification’s suppliers

Requirements:

• Preferred university education in Sourcing and Engineering
• Good English skills
• Strong work ethics, proactive work attitude and good interpersonal skills
• Detail oriented At least 3 years working experience in the Electronics Manufacturing Industry
• Experience using and handling BOM costs and individual components sourcing and approvals for major US/EU/CN
