Responsibilities

Accounting and General Administration

Assist the Chief Financial Officer in the direction of the accounting functions

Handle month end closing, AP, AR, GL, intercompany reconciliations

Maintain routine accounting operations: preparation of payment, receipt and general vouchers, handling claims from staff, issuing and depositing cheques, preparing bank reconciliation statement

Assist in preparing budget and forecast Maintain a strong internal control framework Assist in general administrative works

Participate in ad hoc projects as assigned

Awards management

Provide support towards awards management proposal, including budget approval and monthly reconciliation of reports from different countries

Reconcile monthly SCI report to AMS (Award management system)

Co-ordinate communication with SCHK to countries office, ensure any exceptional issues are escalated to management on a timely basis

Ensure reporting accuracy and implement internal control policies to mitigate operational risks

Provide support to program teams on awards and finance management

Job requirements:

Degree holder in finance and accounting or other related business disciplines

Minimum 8 years relevant working experience

Excellent skills in Excel (Advanced level), Words and PowerPoint

Detail-oriented, Self-motivated, Proactive, Independent thinker, with an all rounded accounting experience in company matrix

Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, previous exposure with regional accounting or local auditing experience preferred
