We are looking for a high calibre candidate to take up the following position:

• Diligently and faithfully serve Transtar International Freight and promote and protect its interests at all times; and

• Devote yourself exclusively to your Transtar International Freight duties during your normal working hours, and

• Carry out and comply with the Board’s and senior management’s directions.

As a direct result of our continued success there is an opening for an energetic Regional Financial Accountant. Your role will see you:

• Initiative in follow-up matters and meet deadlines that may arise with little notice

• Maintain and review our company financial records.

• Work with our external auditors in relation to our annual audit reporting obligations.

• Oversee budget and financial management in Asia.

• Perform duties related to bookkeeping, preparation of external audits, taxes, and financial planning

• Recommend fiscally advantageous methods to save money

• Analyse financial information to ensure taxes are paid on time.

• Review accounts for errors, misinformation, fraud, and overspending.

• Report financial information to management.

• Create and analyse budgets.

• Advise management on tax ramifications of business decisions.

• Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions in Asia.

• Work with Australia regarding intercompany reconciliations and TIF Group audit and budget requirements.

• Forecast revenue, expenses and analyse ledgers.

• Identify and investigate variances.

• Participate in strategic planning, fraud prevention, and budget development.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual with strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills. As well as this you will also possess the following attributes and skills;

• HKICPA qualified

• 1-2 years of relevant working experience

• Basic understanding of China Tax regulation and accounting standard

• Professional presentation, written and verbal communications skills

• Computer proficiency in MS Office and management systems  

• Enjoy Team work and able to performance multi-tasks

• Able to work under pressure and independently with persistence
