Job Description

Reed currently have an excellent opportunity to join their Hong Kong business as a Resourcer -Technology. As a Resourcer -Technology, your responsibilities will include the following:

  • Working closely with Recruitment Consultants and Manager to create and conduct ongoing search strategies
  • Market-mapping and proactively sourcing quality candidates through a variety of innovative search methods
  • Building relationships with active and passive candidates in order to gain their interest for live vacancies and to successfully manage candidate and client expectations
  • Pre-screening candidates and conducting face-to-face and telephone interviews
  • Database management; ensuring it is up to date and accurate
  • Preparing and maintaining organisation charts, client presentations/proposals, candidate reports and specific marketing for your relevant discipline
  • Participating and taking notes on internal interviews and client meetings
  • Responsible for any ad hoc project assignments as required

Person Specification

Joining Reed as Researcher, you will have a huge opportunity to learn about the recruitment industry with an excellent training programme and competitive and transparent development plan for employees where promotions and pay rises are based on your performance. A successful Researcher will possess the following attributes:

  • A bachelor degree in IT&T, MIS, Computer Science, Engineering
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and preferred Cantonese / Mandarin language skills
  • Ideally have previous experience within a recruitment role or work experience in IT related field.
  • Excellent communication skills with a strong ability to network, build relationships and to negotiate and influence others
  • The right mindset - honest, flexible and reliable, with the determination to succeed
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
