The ideal candidate for this Back-End / Server-Side Developer position is someone who has demonstrated strong experience in the GoLang and microservices development .

Responsibilities:

• Design, build the microservices that will constitute our core banking platform and service our mobile applications
• Have experience of coding in continuous build, test, deploy and destroy environment
• Create robust, reliable and highly transactional and event-driven application and infrastructure architectures
• Design and create the database schema and architecture and where necessary be able to optimize performance using proprietary techniques
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features in a fast and iterative development process
• Design, create and run automated unit and integration testing for Microservices and supporting systems/infrastructure
• 3rd line support for production issues, triage and troubleshooting with root cause analysis and resolution
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new available technologies and modules to maximize product development efficiency

Requirements:

• 5+ years in software development
• Deep experience in Go Language development, best practices and design patterns.
• Experience of orchestrating microservice, containerised workloads to Cloud IaaS such as AWS.
• Can build RESTful APIs to connect that will be consumed by front end applications
• Familiarity with continuous integration and automated testing tools/frameworks
• Solid understanding of the full mobile and server end to end development life cycle
• Ability to prioritise, work to tight deadlines, manage multiple and changing priorities.
