Xenzex is looking for an intuitive, curious, self-motivated and collaborative individual Blockchain Engineer to join their development. In this role, you will work with project team to build from scratch a service-based blockchain trading system. REQUIREMENTS

What you’ll do as a Blockchain Engineer

• Work with project manager to coordinate and plan project tasks and resources.
• Design, build and integrate a service-based blockchain trading system.
• Support integration and functional testing.
• Commit to producing high quality, highly performance and robust software within agreed time estimates and to agreed quality.
• Participate in changes, and continuous improvements of software development, testing and deployment processes.
• Troubleshoot development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms as necessary.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Higher Diploma/Degree holder in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Minimum 8+ year relevant working experience in building large-scale web or connected service architecture on cloud computing platforms, with experience on OpenStack Private Cloud an advantage (e.g. Amazon Web Service).
• Experience working with blockchain technology is a MUST.
• Familiarity and experience with Agile methodologies is a big advantage.
• Experience working in financial institution is an advantage.
• Strong development experience on OO language (e.g., Java, C++) and high-level dynamic language (e.g. Python, Ruby).
• Solid experience of implementation in RESTful, SOAP Web Services, JSON, XML and JMS.
• Familiarity with one or more RDBMS’s (e.g., Oracle, Postgres, MySql) is an advantage.
• Familiarity with layering architecture (e.g., MVC) is an advantage.
• Familiar with Build and Continuous integration (e.g., Ant, Maven, etc.) is an advantage.
• Good analytical and problem solving skills.
• Team player, self-motivated, able to work independently and meet deadline.
• Ambitious, adaptable, easy going, with a good sense of humor and a positive attitude.
• Flexibility to figure things out while processes are being defined and redefined.
• Responsible, punctual, and adept at managing tight deadlines.
• Fluent in Chinese with good written and verbal communication and presentation skills; additional languages (e.g., English, Mandarin...) spoken considered a plus.
• Interest in changing the world is a definite plus.
