To support their exciting expansion plan, they are now recruiting for a commercially astute and highly analytical Financial Business Partner to work closely with the Managing Director and the CFO to drive business forward, assessing their various new business & investment opportunities, while managing a team.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the CFO and leading a team of business and financial analysts, you will act as a strategic partner to the Executive Management team providing advice from a financial point of view to facilitate strategic decision making. You will also take a lead role in evaluating potential business development and investment opportunities, providing critical financial and commercial analysis to ensure optimal success and return of investment. In addition, you will also oversee financial reporting and analysis team, and be responsible for budgeting and forecasting, providing impactful analysis to address specific business issues and to support business growth strategy & development. You will act as an internal consultant to advise and propose improvement for operation efficiency. Some traveling within the region is required. This is a fantastic opportunity for a strategic finance business partner, who enjoys working in a fast paced and challenging environment with solid achievement.

Requirement

You will be a highly analytical and strategic candidate preferably with a MBA degree and strong commercial analysis and strategy or corporate development experience. Hands-on exposure working in the Consumer or Retail industry preferred, but not a must. You will be highly analytical with robust excel skills and business & financial modeling skills, together with strong commercial sense and a deep understanding of business case creation and what drives value in a business, particularly in retail/ consumer sector. With proven track record in delivering results in a fast paced environment, you will also be confident and strategic minded, and accustomed to working closely with senior executives. You will be self-driven with strong motivation to succeed. You will have excellent communication (both verbal and written) skills and be fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin & Cantonese).
