To support their rapid growth plan, they are now recruiting for a commercially astute and highly analytical candidate with strong quantitative analysis and financial modelling skills to join their regional team in Hong Kong, where you will contribute to the rapid business growth through assessing the various new products and investment opportunities.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Director, you will play a key role in supporting the business growth in the region, providing critical analysis to evaluate potential new opportunities such as new product, new channels and new market launches. You will pull data using SQL skills and interpret these information through high level analysis, turning data into meaningful strategic insight. This is a highly commercially driven position that requires in-depth understanding of the key business drivers across all divisions in the region. You will be involved in potential new business proposals review and provide top notch analysis to ensure success including optimal pricing points for each market. You will also ensure robust processes in place for all new business proposals, and that all investment and pricing analysis and reviews are with appropriate control and governance. You will have broad understanding of the market that the business operates in, with high commercial awareness of the growth impact. Some traveling in the region may be required.

Requirement

You will be a degree graduate, ideally with a CFA or MBA qualification, and a minimum of 6 years quantitative, financial or business analysis experience coupled with solid SQL knowledge. Advanced level of Excel skills and Robust Financial Modelling skills is highly regarded. You will be a confident and strategic minded candidate who is accustomed to working closely with senior executives. You will enjoy working on projects and thrive in a fast paced & challenging international environment. Naturally a people person, you will possess a curious & commercial mindset and relationship building capability. Fluency in English and Chinese language (Mandarin) skills, as well as strong presentation skills are required.
