My client, a leading Global Bank are looking to hire multiple Mainframe Support Engineer to help them on their ongoing Upgrade/Transformation projects.

Requirements:

• Prefer a Bachelor of Science degree in a technical field
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a support environment with functional experience in incident management and change management
• Provide ongoing project based Support/Testing.
•  
• Knowledge and technical experience supporting distributed, Tandem or Mainframe platforms
• Mainframe based applications built with COBOL, DB2, CICS, MQ Series, VSAM and JCL.
• Scheduler software such as TWS, Control-M or CA7.
• Microsoft Windows server skills
• UNIX operating system functionality. UNIX administrative skills a plus
• Knowledge of relational databases Oracle / SQL Server
• Previous banking industry experience is preferred
