Responsibilities

• Work with test laboratory to get understanding the most updated standards (also future standards) for test plan formulation
• Test report / certificate evaluation and product review as risk assessment study
• Review test protocol with test laboratory for the product
• Pro-active monitor and control the test lead time to match with project development schedule
• For cases of non-compliance found, Quality Engineer needs to co-ordinate between laboratory and supplier for improvement solution and meet schedule deadline
• To consolidate and build up knowledge base for future reference

Requirements

• Degree/ Diploma holder in Engineering discipline
• Candidate with 3-5 years relevant experience
• Working experiences in test laboratory, consultant company or trading company
• Possess strong technical expertise in variety of products: Furniture products and kitchen items
• Mechanical engineering and product development (global Fit-for-Use knowledge is an advantage)
• International compliance understanding  and knowledge in test standards 
• Working experiences in consumer goods
• Good communication skills with fluency in Chinese and English
• Strong team player
