Our client is a prestigious global business and highly regarded. With a growing China business, they are looking for a Vice President with expertise from the Consumer or FMCG sector with strong experience in Sales and Marketing.

This is a high level strategic Marketing role focused on digital Marketing process to drive sales. An O2O business model and currently successful with a large and growing platform. The VP Marketing head will have an important role as the digital marketing expert with savvy digital marketing skills to funnel leads which can be converted into sales.

The ideal person will have a background in offline and online marketing and have a strong knowledge in digital marketing basics such as Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM), PPC, eDM, social media, mobile, affiliate marketing and any marketing related to lead generation.

Managing the omnichannel lead strategy, key areas include acquisition costs and how to maximise lead volumes to build stronger conversion rates. As well as qualifying quality leads and consistently looking at refining the process.

This VP Marketing role will suit a nimble business leader who can manage people top to bottom. Deal with c-suite whilst leading and mentoring managers taking on a hands role if necessary. Focused on driving and leading the team to maximize performance whilst creating a positive culture. The ideal person will have direct experience in the Consumer industry ideally from the Retail, Hospitality, Bank, Insurance or Travel sector. Expertise will focus on: Retail Marketing, E-commerce, Customer Acquisition, Social Media, Direct Marketing, Outbound/Inbound Calls, Digital Marketing. Expertise in the China market consumer is essential. The role is currently based in Shanghai but applications from the Asia Pacific region will be considered such as Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan and Malaysia; the role is based in Shanghai.
