A leading Italian Fashion Group is now looking for a Supply Chain Supervisor

Job description and responsibilites:

  - Establish and follow up production plans with suppliers throughout Asia and coordinate critical raw material orders
  - Provide analysis and identify key factors related to capacity, bottlenecks and schedules to streamline production planning
  - Coordinate the issuance of finished products' purchase orders to suppliers according to agreed ETD, payment terms and conditions
  - Expedite production orders to ensure the on-time delivery of finished goods
  - Manage the relationship with the other offices of the Group (Italian headquarters, China and Vietnam) for purchasing and quality issues.
  - Coordinate the booking and guarantee the execution of shipments (by sea and by air) to the central logistic hub in Europe and to the customers oversee
  - Supervise the preparation of Import and Export documents
  - Coordinate a team of 2-3 employees

Requirements:

  - Strong knowledge of shipment management and production planning in Asia
  - Excellent English and Mandarin (both written and spoken). Cantonese will be a strong advantage.
  - Advanced computer skills: MS Excel and other standard office equipment. Knowledge of SAP (SD and MM modules) will be an advantage.
  - Minimum 5 years of working experience
