Responsibilities:

• Laser fabrication such as cutting, drilling, marking.
• Holograph calculation and generation.
• Assist in building laser application machine.
• Problem solving and maintaining equipment.
• Demonstrates capability to learn tasks in the assigned work area.
• Keeps and maintains a clean work area.
• Collaborate with other engineers to maximize product quality and manufacturing efficiency.
• Preparation of reports and documentations such as sample records, user manuals, manufacturing procedures and reports, etc.
• Miscellaneous tasks assigned by the cleanroom supervisor.

Requirements:

• Candidate should have at least a Master Degree in optics engineering, Physics, Material Sciences or optics related discipline.
• Solid experience in laser application.
• Solid experience in matrix optics, lens principle, laser optics, fiber optics, diffractive optics, FDTD or related simulation software is preferred.
• Practical experience in alignment of complete optical system, Visual C, Matlab programming is preferred.
• Self-starter and team-player with strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Willing and quick to learn new technology and technical skills.
• Proficient in both English and Chinese for communication & writing.
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude.
• Able to work well in a team environment or independently.
• Ability to multi-task and deal with a varied workload.
