To provide accurate, timely analysis and financial modeling (including 'what-if' scenarios) of business data in order to allow informed decisions to be made.

The role will focus on analyzing key performance information to ensure the company maintains competitive advantage in the market place, influencing and informing the decision-making processes of the Senior Management team. The role will be looking at business analysis, commercial analysis & modeling, KPI and reporting and designing and developing automated reports.

Analysis is not simply the calculation and preparation of statistical data – but the interpretation, presentation of information along with suitable executive summary commentary.

Sources of data will be from internal business reporting systems and tools, such as (but not limited to) (1) Salesforce.com (2) Financial ledgers - P&L and balance sheet (3) Financial reporting (4) Point-Global (5) Intranet (6) Spreadsheets / or other databases; as well as other external sources of data (where reasonably available), which will also be key to this role. Where necessary to allow appropriate perspective to the information being presented.

Responsibilities:

Broadly the role will cover 3 distinct areas:

• Regular analysis and reporting of dash board and KPI’s with commentary.
• Ad Hoc request/s according to business need and timetables for and on behalf of the regional management team.
• Research analysis by se lf with presentation to Regional team for consideration to drive commercial decision making.

Requirements:

• Degree Holder, qualified Accountant preferable
• At least 3 years relevant experience
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis experience
• Able to manipulate data, experience of multiple currencies
• Commercial analysis and financial modeling experience is highly desirable
• Advanced in MS Excel (e.g. Pivot table / Macros)
• Experience of ERP system
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills
• Fluent in English is essential both oral and written; and have a second language is preferred in Chinese (Cantonese)
