Our client is an exciting and innovative global serviced office and work-space solutions firm. With a track record of success in the region, it has significant capital to invest in growth and is set to rapidly expand its already large footprint even further across Asia Pacific and Greater China. The company is invested by private equity firms that has helped to supercharge growth and provide the platform for extensive Asia growth for additional dozens of locations. Given the disruption in this sector, the company is launching new business lines and bringing exciting new innovation solutions for clients to market. The team culture espouses an entrepreneurial spirit and “think different” mentality The current goal of the business is to add a sales leader to help take charge of the entire sales team and play key role on the regional leadership team that will help drive the business forward to a successful IPO in the medium to long term.

 

The role

To support the investment and growth plan, the new leadership team is being built up. As Regional Head of China Sales and Business Development you will form a critical part of the leadership team. You will build relationships with key clients and work to promote the serviced office and flexible works space offerings. You will take a proactive approach to researching new geographies and help with the business planning process. You will also be responsible for hiring your team and ensuring they are properly engaged in the business goals, motived to succeed and supervised and developed to grow as the business grows. As the owner of the Firm’s P&L this is a high visibility and high responsibly position.

 

The person

This is a highly challenging role and previous business development experience within the Serviced Office business is essential. You will have had demonstrable success in selling Serviced Office and Work-Space solutions to business customers in APAC. It is envisaged the successful person will have at least 10 years of sales and marketing experienced from within the service office and business solutions business. It will be beneficial to have had staff management or leadership experience.
