Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for the production drawings and specifications (presentation and working drawings). Coordination of concept design, schematic design, detail design, tender and construction documents.
2. Lead an Architectural team effectively and proactively under the guidance of the Associate, and coordinate with other consultants/engineering disciplines or be a part of that team sharing that responsibility.
3. Report to the Senior Design Director or Associate on a regular basis regarding drawing design development issues, design queries, and design coordination issues.
4. Report to the Associate/Senior Manager for all production work and to aim for excellence in design quality and documentation, and match or better Atkins QA standards.
5. To conduct yourself professionally at all times.
6. Responsible for the correctness and accuracy of your drawing work, quality, layout and notes by checking oneself and your teams, before review by theAssociate/Senior Manager, as well as the coordination of drawings amongst the team and other disciplines.
7. To alert the Associate/Directors when elements of the design or details are not working and offer solutions to these.
8. Be responsible for contract documentation, statutory submission document production and submission, and Government discussions leading to approval.
9. To show commitment to raising Atkins design standards.
10. To keep abreast of the latest software enhancements to increase productivity and to share this knowledge with ones colleagues.
11. To actively strive to improve your skills in design by looking for opportunities to further prove yourself whenever you see such opportunities arise. Always discuss and agree any such initiatives with the Senior Architect before proceeding.

Qualification/Requirements

1. Minimum B.Arch, M.Arch, B.Sc in Architecture, Diploma in Architecture (min 5 to 6 years of university study) and with more than 3 years post graduate experience.
2. Professional Qualifications (RIBA, HKIA, China Class 1 (NBAA), Commonwealth Association of Architects, USA, Australia (AACA), NZ (NZRAB), and registration ARB. Relevance to HK. Otherwise indicate other Professional Qualification.
3. Working knowledge of codes and regulations.
4. Knowledge of the following software is imperative: AutoCAD, Photoshop, Revit, Microstation, Rhino (preferable), 3D Studio/Vis, as well as MS Word, Excel, MS Project, and PowerPoint.
