Head-quartered in Europe, our client is a leading manufacturer of safety components for seating. Due to their continued expansion, they are now seeking for a dynamic talent to join its engineering team in Hong Kong.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for product design and development projects primarily focus on metal components.  You will work closely with customers, suppliers and in-house design team in developing new components that are best suit for global market. You will modify product design/ construction to address customers’ requirements. You will manage each development projects from sourcing, sampling, costing to production planning. In addition, you will work closely with quality team to ensure the quality of the new items is up to standard.

Successful candidate will possess the following competencies and attributes:

• Tertiary or above education in Engineering or any other related disciplines
• At least 6 years of project engineering experience in metal components, preferably from manufacturing/ automotive industry
• Solid knowledge on different types of metal materials particularly steels, as well as metal stamping and surface & heat treatments
• Hands-on skills on using Solidworks for CAD drawing/ modeling
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; with ability to work under fast-paced environment
• Fluency in English and Mandarin is essential
