Job Description

Responsibilities:

 

  1. Establish business strategies as well as plans and explore business opportunities in Hong Kong and Mainland China for the company.
  2. Organize seminars and forums in and Hong Kong and Mainland China to develop new customer resources.
  3. Responsible for developing, managing, establishing marketing channels & relationships in Hong Kong and overseas.
  4. Play a key role in the achievement of company's Vision, Mission and Values by collaborating with the Strategic Planning and Corporate Development team.
  5. Establish a sizeable and experienced Business Development team to obtain sustainable income growth.
  6. Cultivate a culture of innovation, collaboration, corporate competency, convergent thinking, service leadership and performance management.
  7. Provide a full range of financial services, such as Risk Management, Portfolio Management, Asset Management.
  8. Responsible for searching merger and acquisition opportunities for the company to expand the scale of the company.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned by the director. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Requirements:

 

Education: 

 

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing or other related field required 
  • Masters degree preferred

 

 

 

 

Experience:

 

  • Seven (7) or more years of business development and/or marketing experience in education/training and/or financial services areas required
  • Proven track record of developing business relationships with and C-level executives (CEOs, CFOs, Board of directors, etc)

 

 

 

 

Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

 

  • Knowledge in the development, management and execution of sales and marketing processes including marketing and BD planning, lead generation, pipeline management, account planning, sales strategy and development
  • Ability to thoughtfully and positively influence, lead, and manage change
  • Capable of leading and managing a local team of people to accomplish desired results
  • Strong business acumen with an ability to understand and communicate BDO's business, marketplace and value proposition
  • Knowledge of contact management software including updating, maintenance and list generation
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Proven ability to work in a demanding, deadline-driven environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent verbal and written communication as well as presentation skills 
  • Ability to travel to participate in events or sales calls or attend regional or national meetings, as necessary
