Our client is a global factory base MNC and Hong Kong's premier largest scale plastic injection tooling service provider, with 12,000 square feet production base in Hong Kong they are now looking for a Project Engineer (Plastic Injection Tooling) for their business operations. Our client supports a portfolio of precision tool production and is rapidly expanding, newly created role reporting to Project Engineering Group Manager from USA.

Job Description

• Contribute in early state involvement (ESI) for tooling quotation to corporate clients;
• Contributing with engineering corporate services, reports and enquirers promptly;
• Follow up with monitoring on project process from production of the tooling, trials to shipping using project management system;
• Conduct regular communications with corporate clients on supports,scheduling and quality;
• Contribute in monitor service reports and to carry out first line maintenance on equipment and system / network;
• Provide technical assistance and craft Engineering Change Notifications (ECN) upon corporate clients’ requests for internal communications among departments;
• Occasionally travel to China factory (daytrip) for plastic injection tooling trails. 

Requirement: 

• Degree holders in Electronics or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent discipline OR Diploma holders in Electronics or Mechanical Engineering  with 2-3 years relevant working experience in plastic injection tooling;
• 3 years’ experience in Plastic Injection Tooling will be an advantages;
• Self-motivated, team player, be able to work under pressure and in a fast pace working environment;
• Knowledge of PRO-E and computer skills are essential;
• English speaking environment is on daily basis;
• Fluency in both written and spoken English and Mandarin Chinese is essential.
