Morningstar Real Time Data offers real-time data for more than 8 million global instruments including equities, futures, options, commodities and precious metals on every major exchange worldwide. Brokerages firms, bank and other institutions power their systems without tailored data feed or monitor relevant trading movements using our market data applications.

 

The Role: 

Morningstar’s Hong Kong office is looking for a Technical Services executive to work as part of our global support team. This dynamic team based in Chicago, Shenzhen, Hong Kong and London is part of an exciting and growing organization.

 

Based in Hong Kong, as a Technical Services executive you will be part of a global team working to help and support a growing global client base.

 

Responsibilities

  • Help customer understand and integrate the Morningstar feed.
  • Support all Real Time Clients (internal and external), with any technical or market data queries.
  • Provide 1st, 2nd and 3rd line technical support.
  • Attend client pre sales and implementation meetings
  • Assist clients use best practices to ensure they experience the full benefit of the Morningstar data products
  • Drive for the highest possible client support experience, and build client relationships.
  • Provide comprehensive Market Data support.
  • Remain aware of product changes, enhancements, and new releases.

 

Requirements

  • Fluent English
  • Proven experience in a similar Client Support role.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), technical, and analytical skills.
  • Good understanding of Market Data and data collection processes.
  • Able to work calmly under pressure on time critical queries.
  • An understanding of IP communications and technologies.
  • Degree level in either a technical (electronics / computing), Business or Finance.
  • Additional Foreign Asian languages skills such Korean a plus
