Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Interact extensively with Hong Kong government, Mainland government and business organizations as well as AmCham business-sector committees
- Maintain good relationship with key Chinese government departments, business associations and think tanks, both in Mainland and Hong Kong
- Understand the general need from members on China businesses
- Keep close track on China’s latest policies and business environment
- Plan and initiate AmCham’s key China agenda including the annual China Conference, Beijing Doorknock and other relevant activities
- Assist AmCham strategic groups and committee chairs in planning China related events
- Assist in members recruitment from companies with China agenda
- Assist in the Chamber’s external communications in Chinese
- Support cross-department events with China focus
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years China-related experience
- Good team player with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Great team leader in maintaining high morale and coaching teammates
- Proven record of analytical writing skills in both English and Chinese
- Capable of building strong business relationships and possess reliable take charge and follow through abilities
- Experience across a broad spectrum of business sectors preferred
- Fluency in English and Mandarin with Cantonese a plus
