Responsibilities:

• Interact extensively with Hong Kong government, Mainland government and business organizations as well as AmCham business-sector committees
• Maintain good relationship with key Chinese government departments, business associations and think tanks, both in Mainland and Hong Kong
• Understand the general need from members on China businesses
• Keep close track on China’s latest policies and business environment
• Plan and initiate AmCham’s key China agenda including the annual China Conference, Beijing Doorknock and other relevant activities
• Assist AmCham strategic groups and committee chairs in planning China related events
• Assist in members recruitment from companies with China agenda
• Assist in the Chamber’s external communications in Chinese
• Support cross-department events with China focus

 Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years China-related experience
• Good team player with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
• Great team leader in maintaining high morale and coaching teammates
• Proven record of analytical writing skills in both English and Chinese
• Capable of building strong business relationships and possess reliable take charge and follow through abilities
• Experience across a broad spectrum of business sectors preferred
• Fluency in English and Mandarin with Cantonese a plus
